TOP NEWS

SUKKUR: Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Syed Khursheed Shah has said that it is the responsibility of the judiciary to decide the fate of Taliban prisoners, ARY News reports.

Speaking to media at Sukkur Airport, Syed Khursheed Shah said that the list of freed Taliban prisoners should be provided to the opposition. He added that the government should have discussed the release of Yousuf Raza Gillani and Salman Taseer's sons and Professor Ajmal.

The opposition leader claimed that the recent meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and ex-president Asif Ali Zardari has nothing to do with the statements regarding the Pakistan Army.

Commenting on the inclusion of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in Sindh Government, he said that the party can join the provincial government as its doors are open for every party. "There are no talks of Syed Qaim Ali Shah being replaced as Chief Minister of Sindh", he added.
