Judiciary will not disappoint the nation, says chief justice

KARACHI: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar has said that the country’s judiciary is independent.

According to ARY News the apex judge was addressing at Supreme Court Bar Association on Saturday.

The chief justice said that the judiciary of the country will not disappoint the nation. “The judiciary of Pakistan is not inferior to any other judiciary in the world,” he added.

CJP also said that the judges will not commit any mistakes in performing their duties. “Nobody knocks the door of courts happily. They do so because they are helpless,” he observed.

He also said that judges cannot decide any case with their discretion but they are bound to decide cases according to the law. He stated that the Bar and Bench are interconnected with each other.
