ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Core Committee of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has been summoned today to review the ongoing row between Geo-Jang Group and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), ARY News reported on Tuesday.
Maulana Fazlur Rahman will preside over the party meeting to discuss the controversy between Geo-Jang media group and the ISI.
According to some reports, the media group has requested Maulana Fazlur Rahman to play the role of an intermediary for reconciliation with the ISI.
The party meeting will also discuss the announcement of a protest movement against government from Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) and other likeminded political groups.
JUI-F Core Committee will also discuss the government's dialogue with Taliban. The party meeting will devise a strategy over its relations with the PML-N government.
JUI-F will also review the travel restrictions over Pakistan announced by the World Health Organization (WHO) in its meeting in Geneva on Monday.
