PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema Islam-Sami (JUIS) Chief, Molana Sami ul Haq while strongly condemning the killing of Mufti Usman Yar Khan in Karachi, has announced a 3-day mourning period – ARY News reports.
According to details, the JUIS Chief stated that the Sindh Government has failed to insure security of a common man. He labeled the killing of Mufti Usman Yar Khan as a great loss of academic world.
Molana Sami ul Haq said that nobody is safe in Karachi, while the killing of Ulema and religious scholars has become a routine practice in the metropolis.
He told that Mufti Usman Yar Khan was the central deputy secretary general of JUIS and also the provincial ameer of Sindh.
Meanwhile, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain also denounced the killing of Mufti Usman and his companions, he demanded the Government to investigate the incident and to arrest the killers immediately.
Altaf Hussain expressed his heartfelt condolences for the families of the ones killed, JUIS leaders and workers.
Moreover, Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUIF) has also denounced the killing of Mufti Usman and announced to protest against it tomorrow.
