Jundullah chief killed in Hub raid

KARACHI/HUB: Law enforcement agencies killed the chief of outlawed militant group Jundullah on Friday in a successful operation in Hub, ARY News reported. 

Arif alias Saqib Anjum who was emir of Jundullah was killed during a raid in Hub. Rangers sources said that it was a major success in the fight against terrorism.

The law enforcement personnel have also claimed to capture around 1000 kilogrammes of explosive material from the hideout of the slain militant.

Arif alias Saqib Anjum was the mastermind of suicide attacks in Karachi and other parts of Sindh and Balochistan, security sources claimed.

He used to collaborate with Al-Qaeda, Daesh, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Jamaat-ul-Ahrar militant groups for attacks. He was the mastermind of a number of suicide attacks in Karachi and Balochistan, sources added.

Moreover, a member of outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was killed in an encounter with police in Sohrab Goth.

Two terrorists were escaped from the scene during the attack, police sources said. Two hand grenades and a 9mm pistol recovered from the slain terrorist, sources claimed.
