LAHORE: Supreme Court judge Justice Asif Saeed Khosa on Tuesday was admitted to hospital after suffering cardiac pain, ARY News reported.
He was admitted to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology where an angioplasty was performed with stents in his right arteries. Justice Khosa is said to be in a conscious state and his health is gradually improving.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar and Justice Ejaz-ul-Ahsan along with other dignitaries asked the well-being of Justice Khosa at the hospital.
Justice Khosa was part of the five-member Supreme Court bench which heard the Panamagate case and later disqualified Nawaz Sharif as prime minister.
