KARACHI: Senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira on Saturday addressing Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that whoever he thought was conspiring against him he should clearly tell the nation, ARY News reported.

The president PPP Punjab said the Panama Leaks case Joint Investigation Team, that has submitted a damning report in the Supreme Court against the prime minister, was not a product of the PPP or the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), but it was formed by the apex court, he said while addressing a press conference.

Expressing remorse over the “threats and taunts” by the Pakistan Muslim League-N leaders against the top court, he said had the PPP done any such act it would have been made subject to trial under Article 6 of the constitution.

“Do Mian Sahib you feel that judges are hatching conspiracy against you? Or the Army is involved in a conspiracy against you? When your corruption is exposed you start whining of conspiracy against democracy,” he said while demanding immediate resignation from the PM.

The PPP leader said many ministers in the ruling party had pinned hopes to the premier’s resignation for their chance of becoming prime minister.

He said the JIT has brought to light such evidences which could not be denied. In 1970, you had a brick furnace spread over 10 marla and now you have assets worth billions of dollars, he said.
