According to details, Rangers arrested Kaleem – prime suspect of PTI leader Zahra Shahid Hussain’s murder – from Teen Talwar area of Clifton today.
The spokesperson of the Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) said that personnel also seized weapons from Kaleem and the accused was handed over to the police along with recovered weapons.
He added that the suspect was also involved in other serious crimes.
In reaction to Kaleem’s arrest, MQM spokesperson said that the suspect was apprehended on February 25.
He said that the Rangers had arrested Kaleem from his tailoring shop and shifted him to an undisclosed location.
“Kalim’s mother, Qafia Begum had filed a petition with the SHC against the arrest of her son,” told the MQM spokesperson. “The petition will be heard by a two-member bench on March 19.”
