Kamal announces rally in second week of April

KARACHI: Ex-mayor of Karachi Syed Mustafa Kamal on Sunday announced a rally in the second week of April, ARY News reported.

The former Karachi mayor made the announcement of organizing the public gathering as he was talking to media here on Sunday.

“The nation has given us a new responsibility. Time will tell how big the rally will be”, he added.

He added that the Director of FIA (Federal Investigation Agency) Sindh Shahid Hayat Khan was his guest and had come to meet him for 10 to 15 minutes.

Kamal said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has started to accept their detained activists. He added that families of several arrested party workers had also came to him.

“The party activists were turned into terrorists through brain washing. They committed those crimes on someone’s saying”, Kamal said.

The former Karachi mayor said that his top-most priority is to get the arrested workers released.
