KARACHI: Chairman Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Mustafa Kamal claims that 12 members of the National Assembly and Provincial Assembly are willing to join the PSP, but threats from a ‘political leader’ were barring them, ARY News reported.

Addressing a press conference here, Kamal said MQM leader Farooq Sattar was threatening 12 parliamentarians of his party with arrests ‘through his contacts in the establishment’ if they defected to PSP.

He demanded that population census should not be made politicized in the better interest of the country.

Kamal said those speaking about ethnicity were the biggest enemies of the nation.

He slammed those accusing PSP of being the establishment-backed party. Mustafa Kamal also criticized MQM founder Altaf Hussain and Farooq Sattar for defaming PSP in their speeches.
