KANDAHAR: A suicide bomb attack near a medical store in Maywand district of Kandahar Province on Sunday killed four people and left at least 40 injured, ARY News reported.
Local police officials said that a bomber detonated an explosive-laden car near a medical facility.
Spokesman of I.G. police Kandahar said the bomb attack apparently targeted an army vehicle in the volatile region but Afghan Army personnel remained safe in the attack while four civilians killed.
Meanwhile, Taliban spokesman from an unknown location informed ARY News that target was US army convoy. He claimed that at least 10 police officials were killed in the blast while more than dozen got injured.
