Kaneria plays a T20 match in US despite ban
KARACHI: The banned Pakistan legspinner, Danish Kaneria has violated the life ban imposed on him by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) by playing a Friendship T20 match in United States on Monday, ARY News reported.
Danish Kaneria, who has been banned for life from any cricket under the jurisdiction of the ECB after being found guilty of corruption by a disciplinary panel in relation to the spot-fixing case involving Mervyn Westfield.
Sources told that Kaneria took two wickets in the match and if this match is associated to US’s association it would be a violation of terms and condition.
Nasir Jamshed, Fawad Alam also took part in the match along with Kaneria without having No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and it could put these cricketers in trouble.
