Karachi: 11 people dead in overnight killing spree

KARACHI: Eleven people lost their lives in an overnight killing spree on late Wednesday in the provincial capital here, ARY News reported.

The killings and targeted operations are going parallel as law enforcers are yet to contain the growing menace of lawlessness.

A man injured in firing in Shah Faisal breathed his last on Wednesday night.

Unidentified miscreants shot dead a man near Dhaka Memon Society.

Similarly, a man was gunned down near Haji Camp. In another incident, culprits sprayed a man in Kharadar with bullets and the victim expired.

A policeman was also gunned down in Baldia, Gulshan-e-Ghazi. His body was sent to hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Two people were also killed in different firing incidents in Soldier Bazaar and Malir areas.

A body was also found from Surjani Town. It was sent to morgue for identification.
