Karachi blasts were carried out by a single group, states report
KARACHI: The initial investigation report of the two Karachi blasts states that the explosions were carried out by a single group, ARY News reports on Tuesday.
Investigative sources said that the same kind of explosive material was used in the blast and the explosive devices were home made. More than 1.5 kilograms of explosives were used in the blast including nuts and bolts.
The aim of the blasts was to spread fear and tension in the country.
On the other hand, cases have been filed against the explosion on terror grounds. The case of Gulshan-e-Iqbal was filed by the brother of a wounded person whereas the First Information Report of Gulshan-e-Hadeed was filed by a person named Safdar.
At least four persons were killed in different explosions at Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Gulshan-e-Hadeed areas of Karachi.
