Karachi Crime: More than dozen suspects arrested
KARACHI: More than a dozen suspects were rounded up by law enforcing agencies in different raids across Karachi, ARY News reports on Saturday.
Two extortionists named Munawwar Aalim and Ahsan were caught red-handed by Mominabad Police. They had demand Rs. 10 lac extortion from a shopkeeper. Guns and bullets were also recovered from the two extortionists.
Rangers carried out a targeted operation at Afridi Colony of Ittehad Town in Baldia. The raid was carried out after receiving information about the presence of outlawed group members in the area.
More than 300 personnel including women searchers, anti-terrorism wing of Rangers took part in the operation after sealing the entry and exit routes of the city.
On the other hand, one person was injured in a firing incident at Baldia Town.
