KARACHI: Intense firing was reported from Lyari area whereas 19 suspected persons were apprehended by Law Enforcing Agencies (LEAs) during crackdowns in the area of Orangi Town in the wee hours of Monday night, ARY News reports.
An exchange of fire was witnessed between two groups of Lyari gang warfare overnight. Tension gripped the areas of Mohammad Lane, Eidolane and Bihar Colony during the firing.
On the other hand, 19 suspected persons were taken into custody after a search operation in the Sector-5 area of Orangi Town by the police. The investigation of the arrested persons is under way.
