Karachi: Four killed in Friday violence
KARACHI: Four persons including a woman were killed in firing and other violent incidents in different areas of Karachi whereas two dacoits were killed by Law Enforcing Agencies (LEAs), ARY News reports on Saturday.
According to police officials, bodies of two persons were found in the jurisdication of Memon Goth Police Station at Super Highway. They were killed by firing.
Police have also collected the bullet shells found near the bodies as evidence.
A woman's tortured body was found from a house in Anda More area of North Karachi.
Fifty year old Tanveer was shot dead by unknown person at Ranchhore Lane area in the old city.
Another person was injured by firing near Liaquatabad Super Market.
Lyari became tense once again as heavy firing was witnessed between two groups of Lyari gang warfare.
On the other hand, two dacoits were gunned down in an encounter in PNT Colony of Korangi Industrial Zone.
The dacoits started firing at the police during a shop robbery. They were killed in retaliatory fire by policemen whereas Rescue officials have stated that two padestrians were also injured in the clash.
Wounded padestrians were shifted to Jinnah Hospital for first aid.
The metropolis is being being constantly targeted terrorists and criminal fractions for several years despite the efforts of Sindh Government and LEAs to control anarchy in the city.
