According to an Edhi spokesperson, 150 bodies have been brought to the morgue. Thirty people will be laid to rest at the welfare organization’s graveyard located at Moach Goth area of Karachi.

However, not all of the deceased persons have died due to the heat wave in the city. Some of them were ill and poor people as well.

The relatives of the people who died due to the heat said that the weather has made it difficult for the people to live. They urged the administration to take steps for ending the loadshedding in the city.

Mercury in Karachi came down to 39°C after it rose to 44 degrees, breaking the record of the hottest day in the past 10 years.
