Blast at Orangi Town leaves seven injured, 2 dead
KARACHI: A blast at Orangi Town near Kati Pahari on Thursday killed one and left seven injured, ARY News reported.
The sound of blast was heard in different areas of Karachi including Jehangir Road, F.B. Area, Landhi and Qasba Colony.
According to sources, the blast was carried through a planted device which was placed in the Rickshaw.
Spokesman of Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) said that two of its workers have been killed in the blast.
Law Enforcement Agencies, Rescue Teams and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) have reached the site of blast.
An eyewitness, Mustafa, while talking to ARY News said the sound of blast was enormous. He said the explosion was occurred in the Rickshaw. Mustafa further informed that the explosion harmed the ‘Mustafa Masjid’ located nearby.
