Karachi issues: PTI kicks off movement against Sindh govt

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to take to streets against the Sindh government for showing negligence over issues faced by the Karachi city.

According to details, the water shortage in Karachi and other problems were increasingly becoming severe and the federal ruling party announced to stage protest in front of the Sindh Chief Minister House.

Organized by the Karachi chapter of PTI, the workers carried out a rally from Power House to Nagan Chowrangi area on the first day of the protest.

Member National Assembly Aftab Jahangir was leading the procession.

It is pertinent to mention here that differences surfaced between PPP , PTI and MQM on the matter of ongoing anti-encroachment drive in Karachi, on the orders of the top court.

Back in the month of August, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail had said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf would have a working relationship with the Pakistan People’s Party as the federal government for development in the province but would not let the PPP enjoy a free ride in the Sindh Assembly.
