Karachi: Six killed in spasm of violence

KARACHI: The menace of unabated killings continued in Karachi today as six more lives were lost in different violence incidents, ARY News reported.

Three bodies of youths were found from Surjani Town, Northern Bypass area. Rescue officials shifted them to hospital for identification.

Another body was found from a sea view, Clifton area.

In yet another incident, two people were shot dead when unknown armed men opened fire near Super Highway, Ghaghra Phattak.

Three robbers were shot dead in a police encounter near Ittehad Town. The miscreants had attacked the police mobile van and in retaliation by law enforcers, the attackers were killed. Police recovered two hand grenades, three pistols and two motorcycles from their possession.

Meanwhile, police also arrested three suspects involved in heinous crimes from Dhabeji area.

A criminal named Nadeem alias Kalu, accused of murdering seven people, was arrested from Surjani Town.
