Karachi: LEAs arrest over dozen suspects in overnight raids
KARACHI: Law Enforcement Agencies rounded up over a dozen suspects in overnight raids in the metropolis on Tuesday, ARY News reported.
Acting on a tip-off about presence of miscreants, paramilitary Rangers conducted door-to-door search operation in Scout Colony of the city and arrested six suspects. The paramilitary personnel recovered weapons from the arrested miscreants and shifted them to unidentified location for interrogation. Identification of the suspects could not be established so far.
Separately, police arrested nine suspected miscreants including a foreign national in Shah Faisal Colony for their alleged involvement in criminal activities. Illegal weapons and ammunition were also seized from the possession of the arrested men. According to police account, the arrested suspects were involved in street crimes and robberies. The details pertaining to their identification were not shared.
