KARACHI: LEAs arrest six suspects in two separate raids on late Saturday night at Gulbahar and Salar Goth of Malir area, ARY News reported.
Three alleged gangsters were arrested in a raid by the LEAs at Salar Goth of Malir area. The gangsters were involved in various heinous crimes including drug-peddling, extortion, kidnapping for ransom, and carrying out attacks on security personnel, sources said.
The arrested miscreants allegedly belong to one of the notorious Lyari gangs and had taken refuge in the area. They have been identified as Shehzad, Siraj, and Arsalan who were taken to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
Separately, police have apprehended three suspects including a foreign national and an absconder from Gulbahar area of the metropolis. The police said the suspects were involved in various crimes.
However, the identification of the suspects could not be established.
