Corps commander vows to make Karachi 'a peaceful city'

KARACHI: Corps Commander Karachi, Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar Tuesday vowed that Karachi will be made a peaceful city, ARY News reported.

According to details, a delegation of traders and industrialists, disturbed by the law and order situation of Karachi, called on the corps commander here on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the delegates exchanged their views with Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar on Karachi’s situation.

On the occasion, Gen. Mukhtar assured the industrialists that the operation in the metropolis will be continued until complete elimination of all criminals. He vowed to make Karachi a peaceful city.

The corps commander said that if peace is restored in Karachi then the country will flourish.

He said that all the seven industrial zones of the metropolis will be provided assistance in view of the law and order.
