KARACHI: One person was killed in a firing incident whereas several persons were arrested by Law Enforcing Agencies (LEAs) from different areas of Karachi, ARY News reports on Wednesday.
One killed in firing:
According to sources, a person named Abdul Rasheed was killed in Bhains Colony area in the jurisdiction of Sukhan Police Station when unknown persons opened fire at a shop.
Lyari gangster killed:
A wanted gangster named Fatah was killed in an encounter by Police and Rangers at Baghdadi area. He was wanted by the Law Enforcing Agencies for accounts of murder, murder attempts, ransom and other criminal offences.
Three dacoits thrashed by public:
Three dacoits were arrested by the police in an injured state as public got hold of them during a robbery at Baldia Ittehad Town. The public handed them over to the police after severely thrashing them.
More than 28 arrested:
According to SP Gulshan-e-Iqbal, more than 28 suspects, including most wanted and absconding persons, were apprehended in targeted operations at Gulistan-e-Jauhar and its neighboring areas. Arms, stolen motorcycles and goods were recovered from the persons.
Several suspected persons, including members of a banned group, were arrested at Metroville SITE area during a raid by Rangers.
