KARACHI: Karachi operation to clean the city from criminal mafias has been continued as the Rangers in a targeted operation in Gohram Bugti Goth here arrested 15 suspects, said to be involved in Ghagar railway crossing blast, ARY News reported on Saturday.
Paramilitary Rangers, on a cue about presence of the accused involved in recent railway track blast near Ghaggar railway crossing, launched a search operation in Gohram Bugti Goth and detained 15 suspects.
A spokesman of Rangers has claimed progress in the investigation with the arrested suspects.
Moreover, rangers personnel also launched a targeted operation in Patel Para after sealing the entry and exit points of the Karachi locality and arrested six suspects including two foreign nationals and two members of a banned group, the spokesman said.
Around 400 Rangers personnel including women participated in the security drive. The security men captured 24 weapons from the possession of the arrested accused.
