The statement was made in his meeting with a 100-member delegation headed by Awami National Party’s (ANP) Senator Shahi Syed during its visit to Rangers Headquarters here.
Gen Akbar apprised the delegates of Rangers’ targeted raids and said the paramilitary force during 27 months of the Karachi operation took stern action against terrorists and criminals.
He maintained that favorable results of the operation have been reaching the people.
The DG Rangers said that the citizens are also helping the paramilitary force by informing it about different crimes on its helpline 1101.
