Karachi: Rangers launch search operation in Farid Colony
KARACHI: The law enforcement agencies on Saturday launched a search operation in Karachi's Orangi Town and arrested scores of criminals, ARY News reported.
Paramilitary Rangers initiated a search operation in Farid Colony of Orangi Town this morning after blocking the entry and exit points of the area.
The law enforcers arrested scores of suspects during hours to house search in the area.
The operation in the area launched after presence of criminals reported in the locality, a spokesman of the rangers said. More than 300 security men participated in the operation.
Moreover, Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) and the Civizens Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) in a joint operation killed four abductors over resistance and secured release of the kidnapped person.
The abductors had demanded Rs. one million ransom for release of the abductee.
Two accused were killed in encounter with police in Singu Lane area of Lyari.
