Karachi receives overnight drizzle, howling winds
KARACHI: Overnight drizzle and strong winds turned the weather cold on Saturday, ARY News reported.
Several parts of the city received light rainfall amid strong winds turning the weather chilly as the mercury dropped to pleasant cool weather.
The met office had earlier predicted light drizzle on the weekend in the city and other districts of Sindh, apart of Thar and Mirpurkhas districts. The weather forecast said that scattered rain will hit certain places in Sindh from Friday night till Saturday evening.
The weather system developed in the west will have a bigger impact on the northern parts of the country. “The system’s tail end lies in Sindh so scattered rain will take places in various parts of the province,” a weather expert added.
Karachi experiencing mostly cloudy weather today and the minimum temperature in the city reached to 11 degree Celsius. The howling winds blowing faster than usual at the speed of 39 kilometers per hour in the city, weather reports said.
