KARACHI: Federal Minister for Railways Khwaja Saad Rafique said Karachi is ruled by ‘bullies’ for last 25 years, leading to citizens being hostages, ARY News reported Tuesday.
Talking to journalists on his arrival to Karachi, the minister said the city was held hostage for a long time. “Everyone knows about extortion collection and those who introduced Kalashinkov here,” said Rafique.
To a question about talks with Taliban, he said the process for dialogues was a better wayout.
He said state institutions were there to deal with elements deviating from the right path.
The minister stated that there should be no rift between protectors of borders and intellectuals.
