Karachi: Six bodies found from Gulshan-e-Maymar

KARACHI: Unrest continues to prevail in the provincial metropolis as six bodies were found at Gulshan-e-Maymar, ARY News reports on Tuesday.

According to SSP Umar Farooqi, they were killed by a sharp object after being tortured. Bodies of four persons were identified as Munawwar, Shafeeq, Javed and Imran.

A bullet riddled body was found near Lakki Cement factory at Super Highway. The body was shifted to a hospital for formalities.

One youth was injured when attempting robbery at Ittehad Town.

On the other hand, a target killer named Ubaid and his three accomplices were arrested by Mochko Police. According to Police, Ubaid confessed of being involved in 28 killing incidents. Ubaid was already involved in murder charges of 10 people and was later released. Two rocket launchers, klashnikovs and four TT pistols were recovered from the persons.

Muzaffar Shah, a drug dealer, was arrested by New Karachi Police after carrying out a raid at his drug den. He was wanted for drug selling and other serious offences. Large number of drugs, weapons and bullets were found from the den during the crackdown.

Nineteen suspects were arrested from Orangi Town Sector 5E during a search operation by Police.

Two alleged dacoits were injured in firing by a civilian who was later arrested by Police.
