Karachi Stock Market records heavy gain of 476.39 points
KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 Index on Wednesday recorded at an unprecedented 28912.98 with a positive change of 476.39 points, ARY News reported.
High and Low were 28939.90 and 28436.59 respectively.
Total volume traded in the market was 269,326,448 and in terms of value it was 12,697,567,939.
Total traded companies were 356, among them 233 advanced, 103 declined while 20 went unchanged.
The three top traded companies were Lafarge Pak.XD with a volume of 58,198,500 and price per share of 14.15 (0.59), Jah.Sidd. Co. with a volume 13,101,500 of price per share of 12.00 (1.00), Hub Power Co.XD with a volume 9,147,000 of price per share of 57.50 (0.52).
The top three advancers were Unilever FoodsXD with price per share 8800.00 (295.00), Nestle Pak. XD with price per share of 8300.00 (240.00) and Pak TobaccoXD share of 1354.73 (55.52).
The top three decliners were Rafhan Maize with price per share of 10200.00 (-250.00), ZIL Limited XDXB with price per share of 123.50 (-6.50) and K.S.B.Pumps XD per share of 93.19 (-4.90).
Investors took great interest in buying shares of Cement, Banking, Oil & Gas and Chemical sector.
