Karachi: Three killed in firing, Iranian petrol dealers arrested

KARACHI: Three people were hurt in different firing incidents, more than dozen suspects including dealers in Iranian petroleum were arrested by Law Enforcing Agencies in Karachi, ARY News reports.

According to police, armed men riding a motorcycle opened fire during a robbery attempt at a shop in Nazimabad No. 4 due to which three persons, named Nasir Baig, Waqas and Sagheer, were injured. The wounded people were shifted to a hospital for medical attention.

A target killer named Naveed was nabbed by police from Garden area. Two target killers named Zeeshan and Bilal were arrested from Kalakot area of Lyari. They are said to be involved in the killing of 20 persons.

A criminal was arrested by the police after an encounter at Mubeena Town. Arms and stolen goods were recovered from the injured criminal.

Law Enforcing Agencies carried out a crackdown at Baldia Town against Iranian petrol and diesel dealers and arrested several persons in the process. Large amount of petrol and diesel were also recovered in the crackdown. Iranian petrol depots were sealed at Saeedabad during the raid.

Further two suspects involved in the dealing of Iranian petrol were arrested from Awami Colony.
