Karachi: Three killed in attack on media van
KARACHI: The funeral prayers of three staffers of a news channel, who were killed in a terrorist attack in Karachi yesterday, will be offered today after Zohar prayers, ARY News reported.
The journalists organizations have announced countrywide protests against the attack on media workers.

In a terrorist attack three workers of Express News channel were killed when unidentified attackers opened fire on a DSNG (digital satellite news gathering) vehicle near Matric Board Office in Nazimabad.
Earlier, motorbike riding target killers gunned down Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Samiul Haq (JUI-S) leader Mufti Usman Yar Khan along with his driver on Karachi’s Sharae Faisal.
In the attack on media van three persons were killed included a technician, the driver of the vehicle and a guard, police said.
Taliban leader Ehsanullah Ehsan claimed responsibility of the attack.
According to police, the attackers used the guns with silencers in the attack.
