According to details, Police were carrying out a search operation against criminal elements in the jurisdiction of FB Area Block 2 Police Station when unknown persons opened fire at the law enforcement agencies.
The cops responded with retaliatory fire but the shooters managed to evade the police by taking advantage of the darkness.
Police arrested two suspected persons from the area and shifted them to the police station for questioning.
