KARACHI: The spate of killings remain unabated as two brothers shot dead by unknown gunmen in Qasba Colony of Karachi this morning, ARY News reported on Monday.
Motorbike riding gunmen opened fire at two brothers Ibrahim and Riaz, who were opening their grocery shop near Paracha Graveyard in Qasba Colony, killing them on the spot.
The killing incident caused panic and harrassment in the locality.
Police and Rangers in their raids in Surjani Town and Manghopir arrested eight suspects belong to Waziristan region.
Police in a search operation in Qayymabad D-Area detained 42 suspects and transferred them to undisclosed place.
"Arrested accused included the members of banned militant outfit," SP Usman Bajwa said.
Paramilitary Rangers plugged the entry and exit routes in Quaidabad area and arrested more than 30 suspects in a search operation with arms.
