ISLAMABAD: Spokesman of Pakistan Foreign Office Nafees Zakaria has said that Kashmir dispute should be resolved through dialogue.
He made the statement in an interview, according to Radio Pakistan.
The FO spokesman said that India has not replied to its offer for resolving the issue via negotiation. He added that Pakistan is sincere for resolving the matter.
Zakaria also said Pakistan raised the Kashmir issue in United Nations and other forums.
He urged international community to play its role and stop the Indian forces in committing human rights violations in the disputed territory.
The spokesman stated that Pakistan is working hard for shared economic development in Asia and wants to have bilateral ties with India.
He added that the country welcomes the Trump administration and is looking forward to cooperate with the United States government on world issues.
