He was talking to PML-N’s Presidential candidate for Azad and Jammu Kashmir Masood Khan who called on him at the PM House today.

The Prime Minister appreciated the role of Mr. Masood Khan in highlighting the Kashmir cause during his various diplomatic assignments particularly during his tenure as Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the UN.

Mr. Sharif said “Pakistan remains committed to peaceful settlement of Kashmir issue through negotiations and dialogue.”

The Prime Minister reiterated his condemnation of the Indian state oppression on the innocent and defenceless people of IOK.

He said that the struggle of the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) for their right to self determination had been reinforced by every passing generation with new zeal and spirit.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed that Pakistan would continue to support the just cause of the people of Jammu and Kashmir at every forum politically, diplomatically and ethically.
