TOP NEWS

SRINAGAR: Kashmiris throughout the world are celebrating India's Republic Day as a "Black Day" today, ARY News reports on Sunday.

Anti-Indian rallies and protests are being staged throughout the state on the occasion. A complete strike is being observed in Occupied Kashmir on call of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC).

The Republic Day of India is being observed as a black day in Azad Kashmir as well. Processions are being taken out in various cities of the region to show solidarity with the people of Occupied Kashmir.

Syed Ali Gillani, Chairman of APHC, said that India has no reason to occupy Kashmir by using force. He added that India has no right to celebrate its Republic Day after occupying the state through its military.

Chairman APHC stated that India calls itself as the world's biggest democracy but the atrocities of Indian military on Kashmiri people are a slap to democratic and secular India.
