The prime minister remembered the decades-long freedom fight of Kashmiris and said, that Pakistan and its people would continue to support the people in Kashmir on every platform.

While lauding the freedom struggle that the Kashmiris have been going through since years in the Indian-held Kashmir, Nawaz Sharif also raised slogans for freedom of Kashmir.

The PM thanked voters for electing Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) during the recently held general elections.

He said success in politics is achieved through hard work, not sit-ins while criticising PML-N’s rival political party Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).

Despite political bashing that the ruling party faces in the country, Pakistan is developing and progressing every day and the world is acknowledging this, claimed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The premier appreciated the backing his party got during the AJK Legislative Assembly elections in the divided Kashmir and across Pakistan and recalled the offensive use of words by his political competitors.

Given that, people in Azad Jammu and Kashmir have given their verdict, the premier assured his voters that the government would carefully spend country’s wealth for their better and improved future.

He also announced to lay network of motorways and arteries in Azad Kashmir and said he would himself supervise those projects.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) emerged victorious with a landslide, as the unofficial and unconfirmed results of the elections of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly show, the party has grabbed a majority of the seats in the house of 41 members, ARY News reported.
