ISLAMABAD: Ahmed Raza Kasuri, lawyer of Pervez Musharraf, has confirmed the arrival of former president to Karachi, ARY News reported Saturday.
He said Musharraf had apprised him of his arrival to Karachi via telephone. “The responsibility of his security lies with the Rangers,” said Kasuri.
He rejected the possibility of seeking help from provincial government for provision of security to the ex-president.
Kasuri also hinted of Musharraf’s participation into political activities.
He said Musharraf might stay at her daughter’s place in Karachi.
The former president will be treated at PNS Hospital and he is expected to touch down Karachi any time today (Saturday).
