Kasuri opposes blame on ISI in Hamid Mir attack
KARACHI: Ahmed Raza Kasuri, lawyer of former president Pervez Musharraf, has said that blaming the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) for attack on Hamid Mir was not right, ARY News reported Monday.
He took exception to GEO for airing picture of ISI chief General Zaheer-ul-Islam in connection to attack of Hamid Mir, saying “ISI is considered among top intelligence agencies of the world and blaming such a prestigious institution was not right,” he added.
He said many media persons also lamented the act of ‘maligning ISI and its chief’ for an attack on Hamid Mir.
“Such allegations lead to creating gap between the army and the people,” he said.
