KBA delegation discusses problems of lawyer community with Sindh CM

KARACHI: A 17-member delegation of Karachi Bar Association (KBA) on Monday called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and discussed issues of the lawyer community with him.

Chief Minister’s Advisor on Information Murtaza Wahab was also present on this occasion.

Murad Shah acknowledging the sacrifices of the lawyers community for restoration of democracy said that he has special regards for them.

“Our father of nation Quid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah was a leading lawyer and founder of PPP and [former] prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was also a lawyer and my father was also a prominent lawyer,” he said and added therefore he had strong bond with the lawyers community.

He assured them that he would visit KBA very soon and listen to their problems and resolve them then and there.

The KBA delegation led by its president Syed Hyder Imam Rizvi comprised of Mohammad Hanif Qureshi, Ashfaq Gilal, Amir Nawaz Waraich, Abdullah Kumbhar, Afzal Hyder and others.
