Kenyan cricket team to complete series in Pakistan; not frightened of cowardly attack in Peshawar

TOP NEWS

Agha Akbar said that the Kenyan cricket team will play its fourth match on Thursday as scheduled.

Terrorists on Wednesday attacked Army Public School in Peshawar, which left over 130 people dead, which included at least 100 children.

“They will complete the series as scheduled. The team on its arrival has said that they don’t have any security apprehensions  and will complete the series. They didn’t send their security team to assess the situation as it is quite normal here in Lahore,” Agha Akbar said.

Kenya lost their third straight defeat on Tuesday to Pakistan ‘A’. The two teams will again play on December 18 and 20 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Kenyan team is scheduled to travel back home on December 23.

PCB is hosting series against Kenya with hopes to revive international action in Pakistan again. Pakistan has not hosted an international tournament since terrorists attacked Sri Lankan cricket team in 2009.
