ISLAMABAD: Federal Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi offered an unconditional apology to the Islamabad High Court (IHC) in the contempt of court case on Friday, ARY News reports.
The case was heard by Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui. During the hearing, Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui inquired that why did the petroleum minister used the term unfortunate as it comes under court contempt.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi replied that the word slipped out from his tongue and was not used on purpose.
The judge said that he will not malign the court again, on which the petroleum minister assured the bench.
