Khara Sach to go on air as per schedule: LHC

The five member bench comprising of Justice Ali Akbar Naqvi, Justice Kazim Raza Shamsi, Justice Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah, Justice Shehzada Mazhar and Justice Sohail Iqbal Bhatti heard the case on Friday.

ARY Network CEO Salman Iqbal and Khara Sach host Mubasher Lucman appeared in the court hearing today. Large number of journalists were also present as well.

In his statement, Salman Iqbal said that the entire administration of ARY News whole-heartedly supports the judiciary and state institutions and the organization cannot even think of disrespecting them. He pleaded the court to announce such a verdict that set the guidelines for all institutions.

The bench remarked that the courts are for all the citizens and everyone will receive justice from it. The court further remarked that the social evils that were exposed in the program is a good act.

Mubashir Lucman, in his statement, said that he will continue his struggle against the problems in the society.

LHC, in its orders, granted permission to air Khara Sach according to routine whereas it granted exemption to Mubasher Lucman and Salman Iqbal from the next hearing of the case.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case for two weeks.
