According to a foreign news agency, the film earned a whooping Rs. 10 million on a non-holiday weekday.
The popularity of Fawad Khan skyrocketed in the country after playing the lead role in drama Humsafar alongwith actress Mahira Khan and Naveen Waqar.
Humsafar was well received by the Pakistani viewers for its story and acting by the cast.
The film is going head to head with Bollywood flick Daawat-e-Ishq which stars Aditya Roy Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra.
Khoobsurat’s plot circles around a love story between a physiotherapist and a young Rajput prince. The film was directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Anil Kapoor Films.
