Khursheed hopes for 'commando' to appear before the court

ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah has expressed his hope that the 'commando' will surely appear before the court after an improvement in his condition – ARY News reports.

Talking to media here on Wednesday, Khursheed Shah said that he has made no deal with the Government on Pervez Musharraf, however he has strengthened the hands of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

He stated that the dictators in Pakistan imprisoned, flogged and hanged people, and the civilians suffered everything to the date.

Speaking about negotiations with Taliban, the Opposition Leader said that the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has not the ability of negotiating with the outlawed group.

PM Nawaz has handed Nisar a sword of negotiation, which is feared to fall elsewhere, he added.

Talking about Local Body (LB) elections, Shah urged for a population census first then to hold LB elections.

He added that he wrote a letter to the Prime Minister for conducting a census, whilst the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) should also consider it.
