KARACHI: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly (NA), Syed Khursheed Shah has demanded the Government of Pakistan to provide the list of released Taliban prisoners, whereas he added that the doors are opened for Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to join the Sindh Government – ARY News reports.
According to details, Khursheed Shah said that Pakistan Peopels Party (PPP) believes in democracy and doors are opened for MQM to join in the Sindh Government.
The Opposition Leader demanded the Government to provide the list of Taliban prisoners, released few days ago.
He said that releasing the prisoners is the authority of the courts and Taliban prisoners were not supposed to be released this way, the Government of Pakistan should have asked the Taliban leaders to release Haider Gillani, Shahbaz Taseer and Professor Ajmal, at first.
Speaking about Nawaz-Zardari meeting, Khursheed Shah said that the meeting was held for the sake of stability in the democratic system of the country.
