Kidnapped minor boy recovered, captor apprehended in Lakki Marwat
LAKKI MARWAT: Police on Monday safely recovered a minor boy who was kidnapped two days back from Sira-i-Norang neighbourhood of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa city of Lakki Marwat, ARY News reported.
According to the police, an alleged kidnapper was also arrested during a raid.
Seven-year-old Ubaid was kidnapped from Sira-i-Norang area two days back. His captors had demanded Rs20 million protection money from his parents for his safe release.
The police said they have been carrying out raids to apprehend accomplices of the arrested accused.
Earlier, on Oct 13, the Punjab investigation police had recovered a teenage boy who was kidnapped from a Lahore locality and arrested two alleged kidnappers.
According to the police, the abductee, identified as 15-year-old Saman, was recovered with the help of advanced technology from Sheikhupura.
The arrested suspects had lured the teenager away to Sheikhupura, they added.
An FIR was registered with the Kahna police station in Lahore.
